Acces Revisit History

is a reflective project by Acces, focused on accessible knowledge-sharing around the theme of coloniality. Through walking tours, bike rides, and other experiential formats, the project engages the past from a reflective perspective — with the aim of making the present more understandable and open to dialogue.

The approach does not rely on traditional historical narratives, but instead starts from connectedness, reflection, and structural insight. It makes complex themes accessible without simplifying them, and invites participants into active engagement, dialogue, and reinterpretation.

The project currently includes two public formats:

Revisit History: Congo – Antwerp

A 2-hour bicycle tour exploring visible and invisible traces of colonial infrastructure in the city. Focused on observation, layered storytelling, and spatial awareness.

Revisit History: A Dialogue in Motion

A 2-hour reflective walk for teams and institutions. This format fosters shared awareness and positions dialogue as a tool for collective meaning-making. Tailored to stimulate internal reflection and group connection within a thematic urban setting.
