The year 2020 marks the 60th 'Year of Africa'. A reference to the celebratory moments of many African nations independence in the 1960’s. Commemorating this milestone, of independence and nation building, which has had tangible effects on African nations on the continent as on the communities outside the continent or the new African diaspora, we're launching 60 Années.

A long-term educational project consisting of different socio-cultural events like art exhibitions, panels and other activities. Through this project we hope to engage with the youth to broaden their knowledge of the historical developments of their communities and themselves, and by so doing making them more aware of their general environment.

Because inclusiveness and authenticity is at the heart of our project, we will be working in close collaboration with different youth groups and organizations from all over the African diaspora.
